How To Use The M416 In PUBG
Thankfully, the PUBG M416 is one of the easiest weapons to get to grips with. It has a high damage rating, it is fairly easy to control the recoil, and it isn’t very hard to master. The M416 offers players the versatility to enter any situation and come out on top. Whether you’re fighting players across the map, or taking things up close indoors, the M4 can be an effective option.
In this M416 PUBG guide, we’ll share different tops for using the M4 at varying distances. Keep each of these tips in mind when you engage a player.
M416 at 0-10 meters
Switch to red dot or holo sight, put on full auto, and hold the mouse button. There is a fair amount of vertical recoil which can be controlled by pulling down your mouse. Use the vertical grip to reduce the vertical recoil.
M416 at 0-100 meters
At this distance, it’s up to you whether you use full auto or semi. Many players find it easier to use semi fire, though, because the full auto becomes harder to control at this distance. To make full auto easier to control at longer distances, make sure to shoot in controlled bursts. You can also attach the PUBG M416 stock to the M4 to reduce the time it takes for your recoil to recover between shots.
M416 at 100-300 meters
At this distance, you’ll benefit from having a 4x scope. You can still use a red dot, but you’ll be at a disadvantage to those that use a 4x. We’d only recommend semi fire at this distance. You can shoot in fairly quick succession whilst in semi mode and still retain a good accuracy.
PUBG M416 at 300+ meters
If you engage a player at 300+ meters, there are a number of rules to keep in mind. First, open the map to check your distance between you and the player – each square is 100 meters. Next, use page up to change your zeroing to match the distance. After that, you can put your crosshair just above the players head and you should be able to hit them.
At this distance, you’ll have one chance to take down a player before they run for cover. Unlike sniper rifles, you won’t be able to take down a player in one shot. For this reason, you should only fire the M416 at 300+ meters if you’re sure you can take down a player before they reach cover. This way, you won’t be giving away your position for no benefit.
